Is Pitaka Quest free?
Yes. Logging, budgets, XP, levels and your iCloud save are free. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and they are non-personalised. The Guild Pass is an optional paid upgrade that removes ads and adds battle plans, hero stats, omens, the Ward and spending impact alerts.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for or sign in to. Pitaka has no accounts and no server that stores your finances.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud storage through Apple's CloudKit. We cannot see it, read it or recover it.
Does Pitaka need Apple Intelligence?
Only for the written Oracle insights. They run on your iPhone with Apple's on-device model, so your numbers are not sent to us or to any AI service. Everything else works on any iPhone running iOS 17 or later.
What does the Ward do with my blocklist?
The Ward list is stored only on your iPhone, in storage shared with Pitaka's call and message filters. It is never synced, exported or sent anywhere.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Local data in the Guild tab exports everything as a plain JSON file and imports one back. The file is not encrypted, so store it carefully. Your PIN and the Ward list are never included.
How do I cancel the Guild Pass?
Open your Apple ID subscription settings and cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
